To shed the lights on the history of Al Rammah International group and its participation of Gitex 2007, we interviewed Mr. Sheikh Nazir Ahmed, NetGear Distribution Manager of Al-Rammah Saudi Arabia:
What are your plans for Gitex 2007 regarding the products you will distribute and how ?
_ We will distribute our latest technology products as we have various alliances with reliable vendors. Al Rammah offers a wide range of the latest technology products to its business partners such as NetGear N series, Planet CCTV Cameras, Flybook,Microsoft,HP etc , specially NetGear Wired and Wireless networking solutions as we enjoy most product up-date. Our products are distributed through more then 700 vendors throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The powerful strategy of Al Rammah Distribution has given us a very unique platform in in the region.
What is your latest Netgear product?
_ We are going to continue distribution of our NetGear N series products, and we have recently launched N Draft in cooperation with Extra .Extra will be our PR partners for NetGear networking products using Netgear N Draft Modem which means users can maintains stable connections and have enough bandwidth to surf the internet, download 3MPs,Share files ,play games and stream video from any distance or location in the home or office.
Can you shed the lights on some of your success stories, and achievements of Al Rammah?
- Thanks to our skilled manpower we had achieved recognition in the market and became one of the important distributors. Thus big manufacturers approached us to distribute their products, now we are the authorized distributor of global brands such as NetGear, Planet, Ati (Connect3D, DRS,Flybook,NaviGon and we are negotiating with other firms such as Lenovo ,WD and hp and Microsoft to distribute their products.
What is your annual sales target for NETGEAR product?
- We want to reach as many as Networking markets in the KSA to sell maximum volume of NetGear and other our products especially ADSL, Firewall Modem and managed Switches, and other NetGear Wireless -N Networking get Intel Centrino Technology.
What about other new Netgear technology?
_ I am pleased to inform through your magazine that we will launch during Gitex Dubai Modem MBM621H .This product is similar to NetGear DB111 except that instead of DSL WAN (Wired),it is SDPA WAN (Wireless). The uniqueness of this product is that no data card needed , only SIM Card required .The MBM621H supports ,standards-Based Wireless Networks around the world this is a All-in-one Unit So just plug into power and the modem will connect to your mobile operator's high speed wireless network
What is your marketing plan in general and during Gitex exhibiton in particular?
_ We concentrate on reactivating demand to our products, therefore, we encourage dealers by giving them incentive through Al Rammah Netgear marketing Program. During Gitex we plan to give competitive prices for our produccts.
How do you think Dubai Gitex will boost NETGEAR to reach Saudi market in particular and GCC and the Middle East market in general?
_ Our participation in Gitex will be the second one and we look forward to get to know our rivals. We have good gitex 2007 Bundle offers for VAR.PR and other partners Plus cash rebates etc Netgear is well known brand , enhance we have good demand as well orders this Gitex could be boost for NetGear...
