To change a sentence from direct into indirect speech follow these steps:
لكي نحول الجملة الخبرية غير المباشرة يراعى الآتي:
5 Change past simple into past perfect.
تحويل الماضي البسيط الى الماضي التام كالآتي:
wrote had written
played had played
was had been
6 Change the following adjective and adverbs
تحويل الصفات والاحوال كالآتي:
now then
this that
these those
here there
today that day
yesterday the day before
1Omit comma and the inverted commas
2 The verb of saying is said.
فعل القول يكون said
3 Change the pronousns according to the )تغيير الضمائر حسب المعنى(meaning
:4Change present into past.
تحويل المضارع الى ماضي مثال ذلك
is was
are were
have has had
can has could
will would
play played
see saw
Examples:
1. He said, )I am busy(.)Report(
He said he was busy.)Report(
2 The man said, )I left Dammam yesterday(.
The man said he had left Dammam day before.
3 The pupil said, )I have finished my work.)Report(
The pupil said he had finished his work.
4 He said )I did not visit my uncle yesterday(.)Report(
He said he hadn,t visited his uncle the dya before.
